Another picture a bit out of the ordinary for me but I love this “happy accident” shot. I was doing a video shoot for my brother at a lake late one afternoon and happened by this proud bird as I headed back to my car. The water was reflecting the surrounding trees so beautifully as the sun went down and I just happened to have my camera on the right settings as he opened his wings and looked skyward. This is the type of shot I usually screw up royally in my excitement!

Beautiful form and textures Cyndi and the green water really sets the old gray goose off! I like his knobby knees too.
I prefer to think this was carefully thought out and executed by a master photographer. (That’s what I tell people when I trip and the shutter goes off by mistake …)
