  1. I never quite get my head around the tolerance for desolation and loneliness that accompanied this kind of life. The nearest humans were how far away? I know I’m acclimated to a different kind of life, where the store is five minutes away, but I’m not even sure how I’d talk to whoever lived in the NV Outback whenever this was built.

    They say great photos tell a story. But even more, your stuff asks questions for which I don’t have answers.

  2. I know. Each time I roam out there, I see precisely what you describe. Sometimes, the sheer desolation is overwhelming. But I can’t stop looking for these kind of structures, so I’ll keep doing until my body quits.
