I’m frequently intrigued by your composition choices. This one doesn’t follow the rules, but the ever-so-slight offset left to center of the road kinda yanks me in. Not sure other approaches, “correct” or not, would have worked nearly so well.
Remember, I wear trifocals. I never purposely try to center anything — just eyeball it. Sometimes how an image is cropped in post-edit makes a difference, too. But I must confess I have a fetish for straight roads and vanishing points in the West.
