In a novel I published two years ago (“mapping Utah” at http://amzn.to/KyFUtr), the protagonist, Kara, tried to bed down in this cabin alongside a desolate road. Night noises and her own anxieties drove her out, hastening her psychological collapse. I’ll post a photograph of the outside of the cabin later this week.
Oh yes. This tells all kinds of stories, and not just Kara’s. Fantastic sense of place.
