  1. Delicious, Denny. I’m a sucker for reflections pieces, and this one had all the mystery, the process of discovery, the aha sort of thing to it. And it’s really nicely composed. Near-perfect balance and symmetry both right and left, the centerline of leaves and grass seeming to fly left-to-right across the image, the root or branch at low-center that is out of the water. The colors are incredibly pleasing.

  2. I’m with Greg. These kinds of shots are easy to do but they’re hard to do well. The clarity and the vibrance here is obvious, but what really strikes me is the motion. A lot of the leaves and grass is oriented horizontally and foreground, providing a wonderful tension with the trees. This is a great shot even by your standards.
