Nice work capturing the dirt and grease of a pile of pipe. This shows that there is art everywhere you look iff you look with the proper perspective. This would look good on a drilling company wall (certainly better than the calendars they typically have) or in an oil company office building. I also like photos of monochromatic items where you are not entirely sure if it is B&W or not.
Thanks. This is very much not a me kind of shot, but I’m trying to learn some new things. That stack of pipe offered a chance to practice, and the Nik suite offered a chance to do something artistic with it that the raw shot simply didn’t.
