Nice. One of the fun things about your macro work is that sometimes it reveals things you wouldn’t notice otherwise. In this, the texture of the material around the bud looks as much like a beetle’s shell as it does a plant. Which makes me think about how things are more alike than we sometimes realize – an observation more philosophical than technical, I guess.
