This is a sheet of ice on a sidewalk. That’s why the leaf looks distorted. At the right can be seen a large air bubble under the ice. But look carefully at the upper left: A cluster of tiny bubbles can be found. Scattered throughout the image are other tiny bubbles.

This is such a cool image – it has taken me a few days to work out just what I am seeing. Do you have a bigger shot of this area for context? That ice is so perfect it is hard to grasp that everything in the shot is actually encased in ice.
This is one I’d really like to see printed on canvas. The texture of the leaf in that medium I suspect would be really compelling.
