Tumbleweed

I had never seen a tumbleweed until we visited New Mexico. These things must be incredibly annoying to live with – they blow through everywhere, stick onto/into everything and can gang up together and make an impenetrable wall. I saw fences, trees and shrubs over come with tumbleweeds. Small spiky bits break off and come in on your shoes and lay in wait to stab your feet… makes me appreciate the dandelion, at least it stays put in the yard. *smile*
