[just a close-focus lens, like a kit lens that comes with camera could do this kind of shot, however. maybe not do the bokeh as well, however.] Can you get a shot of a couple ice crystals, just so we can see them? I know these particular ones will be gone, but I’d really be interested next time you encounter them. From here, it looks like they’ve got the rectangular side-stepped look of a large gemstone. A big honking shot of one or two of those would be cool.
