a red ribbon for the holidays …

I teach at a small, rural private Franciscan university. In a forest on campus, called Bob’s Woods, is a network of trails. Catholics among our LM visitors will recognize this first station of the cross. These wooden crosses stand along the trails. This is the forest in which I’ve shot more than half of the images I’ve posted here. Someone stapled this red ribbon to this cross. It seems brightly appropriate for the season.
