There is a wonderful short story in this pair of picnic table images… a little bit of creepy, a big dose of forest magic and an animated landscape that reclaims it’s rightful terrain. I can almost smell this image – it is reminiscent of a camp ground abandoned for the winter – the scents of decayed wood, bits of dead tree branches and pine cones. The top image has the ubiquitous blackberry vine that survives all – framed by the tangled short hedgerow so favored by our little birds. Just lovely, thanks.
