We were down in the International District yesterday enjoying some dim sum… yum yum. There is almost always something colorful and fun to see, yesterday it was paper lamps and books.

Andy’s Market: Portrait of a Car Guy
My buddy Chris loves cars. And he loves car photography. So shortly before I pulled up stakes and left Denver he talked me into taking a few hours away from packing and going out to the big car show at Bandimere Speedway.
That’s Chris reflected in the center, staring majestically off into the distance. He turns 40 on Sunday, so this is for him. Happy Birthday, buddy. I hope somebody gives you that Corvair you’re dreaming of.

Retired Channel Markers
Some of you have already seen this on wabisabiimages.wordpress.com but I love this so much I wanted to share it here too. I stumbled upon this while exploring an industrial park in Norfolk, Virginia last week. It looked like a cemetery for old channel markers that are now resting among the trees. They make for rather elegant artwork and some of my favorite images I have ever shot.
