Are you using an eyedropper on this and the bug munched leaf Dr D or shooting au naturale? I really like the top one, the muted emerald background with the light sparkled dew drop clinging tenaciously to the fluted grass stem is enchanting.
That’s after a morning rain, Frank, next to a stream at the bottom of the hill I live on. I’d say about two-thirds of what I’ve posted here has been shot within 25 yards of that stream.

The second one is utterly fascinating. A completely different take on the shot. Well considered, Denny.
Great detail here! The catch light in the first is nice
Beautiful, just beautiful. What are you using? MM 🍀
Thank you, Mick. Using a Canon 60D and a Canon 100mm macro lens … and a boatload of luck.
Well the good ship “boat of good luck” seems to be a constant companion. Thanks for the info, MM
Great macros, make this kind of photos are very difficult
