
In the second of two days of continuous rain (now day 3), I drove to the highest spot in Portland. I was inside a cloud. Not fog. Cloud.

Rain everywhere. Winds from nowhere, but heading everywhere. Impossible to protect the lens against raindrops for more than a few seconds.

The layers of distance … stunning.
The depth in these is wonderful and all the green and moisture reminds me of home. You pretty much never get a chance to take this kind of shot here in Colorado. I envy you.
