  1. You’ve really been deep into this subtle black-on-white thing lately that I keep calling “zen.” It’s challenging in a lot of ways. Mainly, you’re finding tranquility and beauty where the day-to-day passerby probably sees only routine, banality and bleakness. There’s something deeply spiritual at work here.
