I love this shot. It’s one of those that took my eyes a second to decode. I think what makes it for me isn’t so the much the tree/modern building contrast (which I love) but the buffering effect of the shadow, which adds a whole ‘nother dimension to the depth of the shot.
Love this! Very interesting. Love the shadows and I love a good tree.

Again, simplicity requires sophistication of eye and technique. A great image.
