Interesting shot. I like it, but it’s quite unusual in its desaturation of color. Is it because there was a lot of haze in the air, or is this something you did in post? There also might be a slight bluish tint? Am I correct in this? If so, is it a white balance choice or done in post?
It was during all the fires last year and yes, there was quite a bit of haze.. plus, tons of early morning sun from behind led to a very desaturated landscape… Auto WB, any blue perception has to do with the light.. nothing done in post to accentuate the “look”…

I love the shot, but you’d never get me up in a balloon to try it myself. I admire your courage and fearlessness in the face of certain death.
