There are a number of things I absolutely love about this shot. First, the extremely wide angle makes the space look cavernous, and the angle accentuates that. But maybe the thing I like most is the sense of light — everywhere, which is exactly how backstages aren’t. I’ve spent a LOAD of time in all kinds of backstage environments, and they’re dingy, dusty, places more suited to some sort of Didkensian theme than this. This is spectacular because it turns my mind inside out. Great job!
This is one of my favorite Denver shots period. It’s a great picture on its own, and I like the fact that the structure is about 30 feet out my back door. Gotta love Old Elitch’s.
