Do I detect a hint of sepia in the second photo? I like it. I also like because there’s more shadow detail in the upper part of the image. The roof structure is much clearer and, methinks, adds to the “home owned stores” appeal.
You do in fact detect a smidge of sepia. I might do a third output of this one. I wanted to contrast the old photo look with something slightly glossy, but I may also do a more rustic take on the color just to see what it looks like.
I echo Denny’s thoughts. For this viewer – I would like to see a version without the geometric light patches under the sign – distracting to my eye and competing with the sign. Can’t wait to see you next version. 🙂
