I think it’s slight underexposure rather than overt saturation. Back in the day I shot Ektachrome almost exclusively. You learned quickly to slightly underexpose it (and Agfachrome) to get the saturated colors. I like the coolness of the green, and that’s what Ektachrome and Agfachrome would do. Kodachrome was a tad too warm for me. Old habits die hard.
