Thanks. This was a Greg-induced effort. I spent more than an hour trying to balance the contrast with the leaf while whiting out the entire background. Between playing with exposure, highlight, shadow, contrast and the color slider bars in Camera Raw’s monochrome palette I nearly went nuts. But it was worth it. I really like this one.
this is really, really strong, Denny. it’s too bad we can’t see the actual effort that went into this. the shot is wonderful. it says exactly what you’ve titled it. i feel that if i were to breathe slightly wrong while looking at it, it would shatter.
This may be the best shot I’ve seen from you. Not only is it a nice subject composition-wise, you really have nailed the production on it. The craftsmanship is perfect.
