Thanks, Denny. I shot this in one of those old men’s clubs, so that accounts for all the dark furniture behind her. I thought there was something hilarious about this woman, garbed as she was, stalking the halls of a men’s club, and wanted to get just a bit of the atmosphere of the place into the photo. I lit it with continuous, daylight-balanced fluorescent light to accentuate the coolness of the steel, the whiteness of her arms, and reflection off the leather with the warmth of the wood behind her.
And I LOVE the idea that you found the image inviting instead of threatening, apparently. Don’t have her phone number, but I could check around for you.
Um, can I get her number? 🙂
An exceptional portrait. Hard to do without a face, but you sure pulled it off, Stuart.
Well we know she was born before 1970 or served in the military… 🙂

I love a woman with a little adventure in her soul.
