That reminds me of the tree behind my building that has grown around an old sign (this place used to be an amusement park). I keep trying to capture the essence of it but haven’t nailed it yet. But this, this is what I think I’m trying to get at. Love it.
I have a number of these types of shots (close-ups of various bits of machinery, fencing, etc.) and I think this works better than pretty much all of mine. There’s something about the similarity of shading and variance in texture, along with the message of the cold steel against the organic, that just works beautifully. Thanks for posting.
