Thanks Dawn. Like you, I find this image very disturbing in a macabre sort of way. I was interested to see what sorts of comments I might get, if any, when I posted it, and am not at all surprised to get mostly silence. It appeals to me for a number of reasons, but wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea.
I see I’m not the only one creeped out a little here. I think there’s a special knack for capturing the disturbing as it masquerades as shiny/happy/normal. David Lynch is good at it. And this would fit perfectly in a David Lynch film.
