No, not snowing yet. I shot this last winter next to a small tributary of the Connecticut River back home in Massachusetts. Who knew the iPhone could take such good photographs … I long for days like this in winter with cold, flat lighting. It cuts down on the contrast issues associated with snow, shadow and bright sunlight.
very nice. you appreciate the flat lighting, i usually run from it. my photographic production in Portland in winter sucks as a result. the composition, as mentioned by Stuart, is quite nice and carries the shot, i think. i look forward to seeing what you do with the coming winter.
