I love geometries in photography, and the lines and angles here are just incredible.
Anna has no training. This is just one of a many dozens of photographs that have left me speechless. No experience. I bought her her first camera before she left for China. A point and shoot. And no post-processing. No Photoshop. Nothing. She has done with her first 100 pictures what has taken me a lifetime to learn. Sorry to go on like this…
A savant, huh?
A simple, beautiful moment.
Her grandpa was a well-known photographer (took famous shots of Jack Kerouac, Bill Cosby, and others, and worked awhile for, uhm, Playboy…). And you know about me. So I guess it runs in the family.
Wherever she gets it from, she seems awfully talented. You have to be proud.
