1:1 aspect ratio – cool to be square
If there is such a thing as a short story for a still image I nominate the 1:1 aspect ratio.
It is deliberate and tells a story with an economy of space.
What better place to experiment with the economy of 1:1 than our local experimental model of an urban sustainable farm – 21 Acres in Woodinville, WA.

You looking at me?

The information board had two rosaries and this cross added by visitors.

Rusty mattress inner springs used as trellis to grow hops.
Sharp and crisp, yet you can sense the petals waving in the breeze.
Thanks – I’m working with the manual focus and trying to push myself to work on the shot.
Especially loving those first two. That flower is so darned happy….
Thanks – you all are pushing me to spend more time and effort at creating a better photo.
