Damn, I like this one. Technically it’s just wonderfully executed, and the composition is great, too. How many times in life have we all seen that very thing without once SEEING it?
Much of the time I don’t see what is ultimately revealed on my laptop’s screen. Small viewfinder, trifocals, poor vision obscure some of the things the camera is pointed at.
That’s how I discovered spiders. I’m looking at foliage — a fragment of leaf — and not seeing the spiders, their silk, of their prey present in the frame.
Ouch, it must be protecting a real treasure.
