I’m just trying to see how this works. Just created a Flickr account, so we’ll see how this goes. These are all pictures taken in my backyard in Wahiawa, Hawai’i. Well, technically, my parents’ back yard. I only lived there a few years before we moved to Virginia…long story. None of these have been Photoshopped since I really wouldn’t know how.

Indeed – this is a nice week-long series worth of images, huh? The white spidery thing blows me away, too, and I also really like the ones just before and after it.
Thanks. I have no idea what that flower is called. I’ll have to ask my step-dad.
After googling it, my best guess is spider lily. But people seem to call it all sorts of things. from Hawaiian orchids to irises. So, hell if I know. I’ll let you know what my dad says if he gets back to me.
